North Battleford Liquor Store
The award-winning North Battleford Liquor store is part of a new direction on behalf of the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority to renew its retail image. The design features an all brick exterior with a traditional cornice and entrance canopy. As part of the most historic city in the province, with several fine buildings dating from the early part of the century, the Liquor Store complements the neighboring art deco CNR train station and the Allan Sapp Gallery, a former Carnegie library. Stonework from the recently demolished Royal Bank was salvaged and has been incorporated around the entrance and windows of the Liquor Store.
